Next weekend throughout the diocese is Called By Name Sunday: an initiative of the Diocese of Jackson to identify and accompany faithful young men who may have a calling to the priesthood. Bishop Kopacz has written a letter to us about this important campaign, which we encourage you to read in the link below. 


Next weekend, at every parish in the diocese, our priests will share their own vocation stories and how they heard and responded to God’s call. The bishop is also asking parishioners to share the names and contact information of faithful young men who may be open to discerning the priesthood so that the diocese can share discernment resources and event invitations with these men. Next week you will be given instructions on how to submit names. Thank you in advance for your prayerful participation in this initiative.
